General questions

We focus on water leaks: finding hidden leaks, repairing and replacing leaking pipework, emergency leak repairs and leaks around bathrooms, kitchens and appliances. Because that is all we do, we carry specialist detection equipment and see the same failure patterns every week.

Yes. Most of our work is in houses and apartments, and we also help offices, shops, restaurants and small commercial buildings with leak detection and pipe repairs.

Yes. Our technicians are trained to use acoustic, thermal, moisture and pressure testing equipment as well as to carry out plumbing repairs, so the person who finds your leak can usually fix it on the same visit.

Active leaks are treated as emergencies and prioritised around the clock. Non-urgent inspections are usually booked within a few days at a time that suits you.

An adult should be present at the start of the visit to show us the problem and at the end to approve the work and see the result. You do not need to watch every step in between.

Detection & repair

Detection and repair

By combining several methods, we can usually locate a leak to within a very small area. Where any uncertainty remains, we explain it clearly and recommend the least invasive way to confirm the point before any access is made.

Yes. Constant moisture inside a wall, floor or cabinet creates ideal conditions for mould within a few days. Finding and fixing the leak quickly, then letting the area dry fully, is the best prevention.

We keep any opening as small and neat as possible and leave it clean. Finishing work such as replastering, retiling or painting can be arranged separately, and we will tell you in advance if it will be needed.

Know where your main valve is and check that it turns. Replace old flexible hoses, fix dripping taps promptly, watch your water bill for unexplained rises, and have high water pressure checked, because it puts extra strain on every joint.

Falling pressure can be caused by a leak, a partially closed or failing valve, scale build-up in old pipes, or an issue with the supply itself. A pressure and flow test shows which of these is responsible.

Pricing & booking

Pricing and booking

The cost depends on the size of the property and the type of leak suspected. We confirm the price of the detection visit when you book, and any repair is quoted separately in writing before work begins.

Yes. Once the leak has been found, you receive a written quote for the recommended repair. If we discover something unexpected while working, we stop and agree any change with you first.

Contact us straight away. We will inspect the repair and, if our workmanship is at fault, put it right at no extra cost.

Yes. Please give us as much notice as you can. Full details are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Yes. On request we provide a written summary of what we found and what we repaired, with dated photos, which is usually what insurers and landlords ask for.
