About PipeLeak Fix

We are a specialist team focused on one job: finding water leaks accurately and fixing them properly, with as little disruption to your home as possible.

Repair second. Proof at the end.

Our story

Built around one stubborn idea: find the source first

PipeLeak Fix started with a frustration many homeowners will recognise. Too often, a leak call ended with a wall opened in the wrong place, a patch over the symptom and the same stain returning a few months later. The plumbing work itself was rarely the hard part. Finding the real source was.

So we built the business the other way round. Detection comes first, using listening equipment, thermal imaging, moisture readings and pressure tests to understand the system before anything is opened. Repairs come second, carried out by technicians who know the difference between a quick fix and a lasting one.

That approach shapes everything we do, from how we answer the phone to how we leave your bathroom once the job is finished. We would rather spend an extra half hour confirming a diagnosis than ask you to pay for work you did not need.

“The stain shows you where the water ended up. Our job is to find where it started.”
How we work

Six principles every technician follows

These are not slogans on a van. They are the habits that decide whether a leak repair lasts and whether you would happily call us again.

Trace before we tear

We confirm the leak location with testing before suggesting any opening, and keep any access as small as it can be.

Plain-language explanations

You will understand what failed, why it failed and what each repair option involves, without technical jargon.

Quotes before work

A clear written price is agreed before any repair begins. If something changes on site, we stop and talk to you first.

Respect for your home

Shoe covers, dust sheets and a careful clean-up are standard on every visit, not optional extras.

Everything is tested

Repaired lines are pressure tested before the water is restored, so the fix is proven rather than assumed.

Records you can keep

Photos of what we found and what we did, useful for your own records, a landlord or an insurance claim.

Your visit

What happens when you call us

Whether you have a slow drip or a ceiling that is starting to sag, the process is the same: calm questions, safe advice, careful testing and a clear decision before any work begins.

The tools behind accurate detection

Good detection is a combination of experience and the right instruments. No single tool finds every leak, so we choose the methods that suit your property and use them to confirm each other.

Acoustic leak detection

Sensitive ground and wall microphones pick up the sound of pressurised water escaping from a pipe, even through concrete.

Thermal imaging

Infrared cameras reveal temperature differences caused by hot water leaks and damp, showing the route water has taken.

Moisture mapping

Meters measure moisture in plaster, timber and screed so we can see how far water has spread and where it is coming from.

Pressure and flow testing

Isolating sections of the system and monitoring pressure tells us exactly which part of the pipework is losing water.
