Emergency Leak Repair, Day or Night

Burst pipe, water through the ceiling or a fitting that has let go? Call now and we will help you stop the water while a technician is on the way.

Act fast

What to do in the first few minutes

These four steps limit the damage before we arrive. Keep everyone safe first. Property can be repaired; people come first.

1

Shut off the water

Turn the main stop valve clockwise until it stops. If only one fixture is leaking, its own isolation valve may be enough.

2

Make electrics safe

If water is near sockets, lights or the distribution board, switch off power at the breaker, but only if you can reach it from a dry spot.

3

Drain and contain

Open the lowest cold tap to drain the pipes. Move valuables away and use towels and buckets to stop water spreading.

4

Call and record

Call our hotline, then take photos and short videos of the leak and any damage for your records and insurer.

When to call

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

If water is escaping faster than you can contain it, is near electrics, or will not stop when you close a valve, treat it as an emergency. Slow drips can usually wait for a scheduled visit, but call us if you are unsure. We would rather talk it through than have you guess.

Why speed matters

Fast action makes a real difference

Water spreads quickly through ceilings, floor screed and wall cavities. Within hours it can stain plaster, swell timber and reach electrics. Within a day or two, trapped moisture creates the conditions for mould. The sooner the leak is stopped and the area dried, the smaller the repair and the less disruption you face.

Our emergency technicians carry common pipe sizes, fittings and clamps, so most repairs are completed on the first visit. If a specific part is needed, we make a secure temporary repair, restore water where it is safe to do so and return to finish the job.

After you call

What happens next

On the phone

We confirm the water is off, check for electrical risk and give you a realistic arrival estimate.

On arrival

The technician makes the area safe, finds the failure and explains the repair and its price before starting.

After the repair

The line is pressure tested, the water is restored and you get advice on drying out and any follow-up work.
